SWTOR to Go Free-to-Play During the Fall

Earlier this month BioWare’s Star Wars the Old Republic MMO had announced that they would be offering new players a free-to-play trial with a level limit of 15. During the fall, the game will be transitioning to a hybrid F2P model by increasing the free-to-play level limit to 50. While players will be able to freely experience all eight available character classes, there will be restrictions for free-to-play players.

BioWare has yet to announce these restrictions, but they can be removed through microtransactions within the game. For more on the changes, check the new FAQ on the SWTOR website
