Star Wars: The Old Republic Rise of the Hutt Cartel Expansion Announced

Rise of the Hutt Cartel, the first digital expansion for BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic has been announced for release in Spring 2013. New features included in the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion include a level cap increase to level 55, new story based missions, and the new planet of Makeb.

Fans who pre-order the expansion will receive unique items and features including the “Scourge of the Hutts” player title, a Dr.Oggurobb Hutt holostatue, and a Makrin Seedling mini-pet.

Star Wars: The Old Republic subscribers will be able to pre-order the expansion for $9.99, while the non subscriber price will be $19.99. Non subscribing players who choose to pre-order the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion will become Preferred Status players.
