A new trailer for Namco Bandai’s Dark Souls II was released during E3. The trailer includes a look at the gruesome gameplay and deaths players may encounter in the game. Dark Souls II will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in March 2014.

During E3, Square-Enix had announced the much anticipated Kingdom Hearts III is currently in production. It is the eigth installment of the Kingdom Hearts series, and the first exclusive console release since Kingdom Hearts II. Kingdom Hearts III will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but a release date has yet to be announced.

At E3, Tecmo Koei had announced the release of Gust’s Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland. While the game is a port of Atelier Meruru, this Vita exclusive release will include new costumes, endings, and all the DLC available in the PlayStation 3 release. Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland will be released in North America on September 3, 2013.

CD Projekt RED has released two new trailers for their much anticipated The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. At Microsoft’s E3 press conference they premiered a gameplay trailer which features a look at the vast game environment, and redesigned combat mecanics. Additionally, on their YouTube page, CD Projekt RED has released a new trailer featuring key creative process behind the game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2014.

Lightning Returns in Square-Enix’s newly released E3 gameplay trailer which features the game environment, battle effects, monsters, and characters Lightning will encounter.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on February 11, 2014 and in Europe on February 14, 2014.

Diablo III will be making its way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles on September 3, 2013. While still very popular on the PC since its release in May 2013, the console version of Diablo III will have its own unique perks. Such features include a new user interface, dynamic camera which ensures that the hero is at the center of all the action, and custom-tailored gamepad controls. Additionally, players will be able to utilize the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live to create parties and play with friends and other fans online.

Players who preorder Diablo III for either console will receive an exclusive Internal Helm in-game item which grants players an experience point boost. A Limited Edition preorder bonuses of Diablo III will be available, but details will be announced at a later date.

After much wait, a release date for Square-Enix’s third installment to their Final Fantasy XIII saga, Lightning Returns has been announced. The game will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan on November 21, 2013, in North America on February 11, 2014, and in Europe on February 14, 2014. As E3 begins next week, Square-Enix has also released a new trailer for the game:

Later this year Lionhead Studios will be releasing Fable Anniversary, a high definition remake of Fable: The Lost Chapters for the Xbox 360. Fable was originally exclusively released for the Xbox in 2004, while Fable: The Lost Chapters, an expanded version of the game, was released for Xbox and PC in 2005, and for the Mac OS X in 2008.

While no release date has been confirmed for Fable Anniversary, Lionhead Studios is teasing a holiday 2013 release date for the Xbox360 exclusive.

A new school session has begun in the dungeon crawler RPG Class of Heroes 2. In this Wizardry styled RPG, players will be able to explore over one hundred quests and labyrinth maps by creating their ideal adventurer. Utilizing the game’s character customization, players will be able to create a unique game experience by choosing their character’s race, class, and the subjects which they may be specializing in school.

Class of Heroes 2 is priced at $24.99 and is now available for purchase and download for the PSP and Vita on the PlayStation Store.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, one of BioWare’s earlier RPGs successes, is now available for purchase ont he iPad for $9.99. Fans who plan on purchasing the game for the iPad should note that the game is compatible with iOS 6 or newer and for iPad 2 and higher. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was originally released for the Xbox and PC in 2003, and was later Ported to Mac OS X in 2004.

In response to the Tales of Xillia Collector’s Edition which was announced for Europe in April, Namco Bandai has revealed a Collector’s Edition available for US and Canadian fans. Priced at $60, this edition will include the game, collectible character profile booklet, a Tales of Xillia music CD, and a DLC costume for both Milla Maxwell and Jude Mathis.

Fans who have preordered the game will be automatically upgraded to the Collectors Edition when the game hits North American store shelves on August 6, 2013.

ArenaNet has released a gameplay video featuring highlights of the new features and areas in the Last Stand of Southsun content update which will be released today. Fans of the Atelier series rejoice as Tecmo-KOEI has announced that Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland will be released in North America on September 3. This title was originally released in Japan on March 20. It is a PlayStation Vita port of the PlayStation 3 Release of Atelier Meruru.

Borderlands 2‘s Psycho Bandit Vault Hunter is now available for purchase in the game’s latest Psycho Pack add-on. Being the sixth playable character in the game, Gearbox Software has also unveiled a character introduction trailer featuring Krieg’s unique perks. The DLC is not included in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass and is priced at 800 Microsoft Points at the Xbox Live Marketplace, and $9.99 at the PlayStation Store and for the PC.
